Our history

Founded in 2005, Edge Analytics grew out of collaborations with academics and researchers at The University of Leeds, applying methodological rigour within demographic and spatial data science to complex real-world business issues.

We work with a large and diverse range of public and private organisations supplying detailed and robust evidence-based intelligence and forecasts, often in heavily regulated environments.

We are committed to the research, development and application of innovative data science methods that combine data, technology and analytical models to aid decision making. This is achieved by bringing together separate but complementary datasets and combining these with our own derived data and analytical modelling, tools and techniques.

As of November 2023, Edge Analytics is part of Green Street, market-leaders in actionable intelligence for the real estate market.

At the core of the Edge Analytics business remains a focus on adding value, providing insight, and aiding understanding through robust and transparent intelligence.
